WHAT’S NEW THIS SUMMER

TOP 10

There’s one big change among the Top 10 - we’ve bumped Pétrelle from the #1 spot. Don’t worry, they’re still great - I just had a wonderful dinner there two weeks ago. However, chef Lucie Boursier-Mougenot is super pregnant and about to pop. They’re closing the restaurant from June 21-August 31, so we’re pulling them from our summer selection. Expect to see them back on our autumn list.

Their absence opens up a spot for Verjus. I had an incredible meal there three weeks ago and am so thrilled that they have finally reopened after a three year hiatus.

NEW ADDITIONS

We visited thirty restaurants in total this quarter, and five of them made the cut for this list. We welcome Le Mazenay, Caluche, Restaurant Palais Royal, Le Duc and Maison Cluny to our selection of fifty favorites.

PROMOTIONS

We returned to a lot of restaurants that we liked years ago and found many of them to (still) be worthy of your appetite. Elmer, Auberge Bressane and Le Bel Ordinaire have rejoined the list. Welcome back!

DEMOTIONS

We still like them, but the following restaurants fell from our list to make room for other favorites: Bistrot des Tournelles, Shabour, Le Mermoz, Yam’Tcha, Amarante, Astier and Twenty-Two Club.
