We’re constantly trying new restaurants and revisiting old favorites in order to put together this list of our Fifty Favorite Restaurants in Paris.

We review places anonymously, booking under false names and paying full price. We return frequently to make sure that our favorites are still worthy of this list. You’ll find the date of our most recent visit under every photo, and very few are more than a year old. Why bother with all this? We want you to have genuinely delicious meals in Paris.

Within each category (type of cuisine), our picks are organized by date - the most recent visits are first. We’ve included only a short description for each restaurant, but you can click the links to read our full reviews.
