Where to eat when Paris is chilly
Hello again! I know that many of you have been waiting for this update to our list of favorite restaurants. Thanks so much for your patience. We’re now updating this twice a year instead of quarterly, in time for cold weather (in November) and warm weather (in May).
I wanted to remove the pressure to make unnecessary changes for the sake of novelty. I didn’t want to publish a quarterly “update” that had only 1-2 changes, but I also didn’t want to boot a perfectly wonderful restaurant to make room for something less delicious.
Saying less, or saying it less often, serves to strengthen this top list. Or so I hope. Because I’m only making changes when they’re justified, I can truly say that these are my fifty favorite restaurants in Paris.
Within each category (type of cuisine), our picks are organized by date - the most recent visits are first. You’ll find the date of my most recent visit under every photo. We’ve included only a short description for each restaurant, but you can click to read our full reviews.
